Digitalization meets complex manufacturing industries - opportunities and challenges

Digitalisation and Key Enabling Techniques such as Artificial Intelligence, Big Data Analytics and Software Engineering have a tremendous potential to change industries. However, many companies struggle to apply those techniques in their daily operations and miss to utilize them for their full benefit.

In this workshop, renowned academic experts and practitioners from leading companies come together to discuss current best practices and give an outlook into future potential of those techniques focusing on Swedish production companies. The workshop is connected to the startup of regular activities of the research center DAMI4.0 (Digital Adaptive Manufacturing for Industry4.0) at KAU.
