NEW RESEARCH PROJECT WILL STUDY ROBOTICS IN THE FIELD OF ELDERLY CARE
The Health and care administration at Karlstad municipality will, as one of the first municipalities in Sweden, install and evaluate a hygiene robot - an intelligent shower. CO-DESIGNING A VIRTUAL REALITY ADOLESCENT HOUSE PARTY SIMULATION EXPERIENCE
Dr. Jakob Trischler, Postdoctoral researcher at CTF, currently collaborates with a team of social marketing researchers at Griffith Business School, Australia, to address a key challenge that many public sector organizations are facing: How to identify, recruit, and actively involve vulnerable users as ‘co-designers’ during the early stages of the service design process? The research team posed this question recently when designing new alcohol education program resources for high school students in Australia. Read more.
CTF RESEARCHER WILL STUDY UNIQUE CUSTOMER EXPERIENCES BENEATH THE SURFACE
In the spring of 2019, Europe’s first underwater restaurant will open in Lindesnes, Norway. In connection to this initiative, research on customer experiences will be conducted. Erik Wästlund, Associate Professor of Psychology at CTF, Service Research Center at Karlstad University, is one of the researchers in the project. Read more.
MARIT ENGEN NEW POSTDOCTORAL RESEARCHER
Marit Engen is our second new postdoctoral researcher that have joined CTF this year. She has a PhD in service innovation. Her doctoral thesis, "Frontline employees as participants in service innovation processes – Innovation by Weaving", focused on service innovation processes, in particular the involvement of frontline employees.
