THE RESEARCHER: LET YOUR CHILD WALK OR RIDE A BIKE TO SCHOOL!
School has started and maybe this year more parents may let their children walk or ride a bike to and from school due to the corona pandemic. Despite the reason, it is a positive development, says Jessica Westman Trischler at CTF, Service Research Center at Karlstad University. RESEARCHERS NOMINATED FOR SUSTAINABILITY INITIATIVE OF THE YEAR AT THE SWEDISH GROCERY RETAILERS GALA 2020
Helén Williams and Fredrik Wikström at CTF, Service Research Center at Karlstad University, conduct research about the role of packaging in reducing food waste. Research that has led to a nomination at “Dagligvarugalan 2020, for their contributions to the grocery retail industry, as one of three finalists in the category "Sustainability Initiative of the Year". The gala is arranged for the twelfth year by the grocery industry magazine Fri Köpenskap. Read more.
NEW COLLABORATIVE INITIATIVE WILL PROMOTE COORDINATION AND DEVELOPMENT IN HEALTH CARE
CTF, Service Research Center at Karlstad University, is one of the initiators of a new arena for learning and experimentation to support the transition of the health care initiative towards a more person centered and integrated care. The initiative is conducted in cooperation with Swedish Association of Local Authorities and Regions (SKR), Experio Lab Sweden, Design at Linköping University and the City of Helsingborg. Read more.
TRAVEL SATISFACTION IS EQUALLY IMPORTANT TO ALL AGE GROUPS
There are differences in how people travel and how they experience their travel, depending on which age group they belong to. Travel satisfaction, however, is equally important to all ages. This according to a new study from CTF, Service Research Center at Karlstad University. The study is based on public transport passengers from five different life stages. Read more.
